On Thursday, March 16, 25 transactions totaling $52.1 million were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, the correspondent of ORIENT reports.

Entrepreneurs from Pakistan and Afghanistan purchased 16 thousand tons of diesel fuel of the L-0,5-62 brand, the cost of which was estimated at $687 per ton. The total amount of transactions on petroleum products exceeded $10.9 million.

Business representatives from Afghanistan also purchased 5.5 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas, the price of which was set at $314 per ton. In sum, LNG was sold for export for a total of $1.7 million.

Another businessmen from Afghanistan signed contracts for the purchase of 5 thousand tons of A-92 gasoline. Its value was estimated at $676.75 per ton. The total amount of the transaction exceeded $3.3 million.

Buyers from the UAE, Malta and the Virgin Islands purchased 100 thousand tons of low-sulfur heating oil for a total of $35.7 million. The cost of production was $357 per ton.

500 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene was also purchased by the representative of Afghanistan for $348.2 thousand ($696.50 for each ton).

A day earlier, on March 15, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased at auction 1 thousand tons of liquefied gas for $ 330 thousand, estimating each ton of products at $ 330.
