A book about the February earthquakes in Turkey has been published
The Turkish Presidential Administration's Communications Department has prepared a book titled "Disaster of the Century: The February 6, 2023 Kahramanmarash Earthquake" for publication, Anadolu agency reports.
The book tells about the consequences of devastating earthquakes with an epicenter in the Turkish province of Kahramanmarash. It also provides detailed information on disaster response measures taken by the State, as well as by various organizations and ordinary citizens.
The publication includes six sections: "About the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmarash earthquakes", "Disaster Awareness of the Century", "Search and Rescue Operations in the earthquake Zone", "Disaster Communication and Combating Disinformation", "Solidarity in the Aftermath of Earthquakes" and " The Process of Earthquake Recovery and Construction". The book is available in Turkish, English and Arabic.
The foreword to the book was written personally by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The publication was presented to the heads and members of delegations who participated in the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
