Emerald chlorella is a "super fertilizer" of local production for Turkmen farmers

A tiny emerald-colored algae, chlorella, has become today, perhaps, the most popular "product" that has conquered the world. The reason for the success of small cells is the rich content of useful substances, the properties of which are widely used in various fields of human activity, including in agriculture for feeding plants, birds and animals, in beekeeping and other areas.

Turkmen farmers also liked the green "super fertilizer", who use it in the fish, livestock, farming and poultry sectors of the country. There are also their own producers – the local companies "Çemenli ýaýla" and "Pajarla", which produce chlorella in liquid, suspension, powdered and pasty forms. The heads of enterprises became participants of the scientific meeting held weekly at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov. This time the topic of the seminar was the miracle algae.

Entrepreneurs told the forum participants about the experimental work carried out in the production of fertilizers, as well as the widespread use of chlorella as food additives to the diet of animals, its use in improving soil fertility, the benefits of algae in increasing seed germination, forage silage, etc.

For reference: chlorella contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, PP, K and others, increases live weight, fertility and productivity of livestock, poultry and fish, increases resistance to diseases. The antibiotic chlorellin, which is part of it, has an effect against bacteria, viruses and protozoa. In addition, the algae uses light and carbon dioxide for growth and releases oxygen, which is very important for the environment.
