The best choral orchestras from all over the world will perform in Istanbul


From April 25 to April 30, the World Symposium on Choral Music will be held in Istanbul under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey. This is reported in the press release of the Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The symposium will be the largest event organized by the International Federation of Choral Music in the last six years. This year the World Symposium will be held under the slogan "Changing Horizons", taking into account the wide geography of the event and the variety of forms of choral music.
The world's leading choirs and music experts, speakers from 28 countries will perform in the walls of the historical buildings of the Beyoglu district — the Ataturk Cultural Center, the Galata Mevlevi Monastery, the Church of St. Anthony of Padua and the Grand Pera Center.
The performances of the State Choir of Turkey, the Chamber Choir of the Estonian Philharmonic, which is the winner of the prestigious Grammy Award, the Lebanese national choir "Fayha", the chamber choir of the Taipei Philharmonic of Taiwan, the Batavia Madrigal Singers from Indonesia, Leioia Kantika Korala from Spain, Orfeón San Juan Bautista from Puerto Rico are expected.
A series of concerts, exhibitions and seminars are planned on the margins of the symposium.
