The Embassy of Turkmenistan in France celebrated Novruz at UNESCO headquarters
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in France took part in the celebration of the International Day of Novruz, which was held at the UNESCO headquarters, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Paris reports.
As part of the celebrations, a concert, tasting of national dishes and an exhibition were organized. The exhibition stand of the diplomatic mission from Turkmenistan was decorated with handmade carpets, national jewelry and souvenirs.
Also during the event, a creative team led by the musician of the Türkmen äheňleri Symphony Orchestra Serdar Haidarov performed, who presented compositions on various instruments, including the dutar and gyjak.
The Novruz Day celebration was organized jointly with the Embassies of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
