Meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan
Today, the twenty-second meeting of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation was held on the digital system, which considered and adopted a number of laws developed in accordance with the priorities of the state policy of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and a comprehensive program to modernize the legislative and legal framework of the country.
Representatives of ministries and departments, as well as mass media were invited to participate in the meeting.
The deputies considered the draft Laws "On the Mejlis of Turkmenistan", "On accession to the International Convention on the Harmonized System for the Description and Coding of Goods, adopted in the city of Brussels and amended by the Protocol."
It was emphasized that the draft law "On the Mejlis of Turkmenistan" determines the organization of the activities of this representative body exercising legislative power, the tasks, powers of its structures and the status of deputies.
The draft legislative acts submitted for consideration at the regular meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation were unanimously approved and adopted.
