Turkmen customs officers improve their skills in the field of intellectual property protection


The company from St. Petersburg "Schmitt and Orlov Intellectual Property" shared its experience with the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan during a seminar held via videoconference.
At the seminar, the company's experts shared their experience and knowledge on how to identify counterfeit products, how to distinguish them from the original and how to apply measures to protect intellectual rights, the website of the Turkmen customs reports.
Customs officers of Turkmenistan have studied the facts of finding counterfeit branded products in order to further apply this experience in their own practice.
Following the training, the customs service thanked the Russian company and expressed interest in such trainings.
Turkmenistan has established and operates a Customs Register of Intellectual Property objects for the detection of counterfeit goods.
