Russia has simplified employment and obtaining a residence permit for foreign IT specialists
Foreign specialists working in Russian companies in the field of information technology and their family members will be able to obtain a residence permit in Russia without a validity period in a simplified manner. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country in its telegram channel.
IT specialists will be able to sign an employment contract without obtaining a work permit. In turn, employers represented by accredited IT companies will be able to hire them without obtaining permission to attract and use employees.
To obtain a residence permit, you must contact the migration branch of the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at your chosen place of permanent residence. The application will be considered within 3 months.
