CIS observers visited Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan


Within the framework of monitoring the preparation and conduct of elections of deputies of the Parliament (Mejlis) in Turkmenistan The seventh convocation of the CIS international observers visited the Dashoguz region. This is reported by the website of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth.
Representatives of the Mission got acquainted with the work of polling stations, checked their readiness for voting, and also talked with members of the commissions of the polling stations.
Members of precinct election commissions informed international observers about the organization of the working process, told about how early voting will take place at polling stations and voting on the main election day.
The CIS observers highly appreciated the level of preparation for the parliamentary elections, noted the professionalism of the members of precinct election commissions, the equipment of polling stations with the necessary equipment and methodological materials.
The formation of the CIS Observer Mission continues. To date, 40 observers have submitted documents for accreditation, including representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Tajikistan.
