Turkmen-Tatarstan business forum
The next significant step in establishing fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation was the Turkmen-Tatarstan business forum held today in the conference hall of the capital’s “Yyldyz” hotel.
The meeting agenda included a discussion of promising areas of mutually beneficial partnership between sectoral departments and business circles of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan in the context of the existing large trade, economic and investment potential, in particular, in the fields of industry, energy, agriculture and transport.
In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan O. Korobchenko noted that one of the world's largest healthcare companies producing human simulators "Eidos-Medicine" operates in America, Japan and Tatarstan, which also interacts with the universities of Turkmenistan and supplies simulators.
Representatives of the Turkmen side noted that the construction industry occupies a special place in the development of bilateral relations at the present stage. Energy, agriculture, transport, mechanical engineering were named among the promising vectors of cooperation.
In particular, during the meetings, a cooperation agreement was signed between the trading network of supermarkets of Turkmenistan "Halk market" and LLC "Natural Health".
