A meeting with experts from the British Defense Analytical Center was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

A meeting of representatives of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan with experts from the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) was held in Ashgabat on Tuesday.

During the meeting, which took place in the building of the country's Foreign Ministry, issues of regional security, countering threats and challenges, including ways for a peaceful settlement of the Afghan issue, were discussed. The parties also exchanged views on issues of regional cooperation in the trade and economic plane, according to the website of the Foreign Ministry.

The Royal United Services Institute is the world's oldest and leading think tank for defense and security in the UK.
