Bidding on SCRMET: deals for the export of float glass have been made


On Tuesday, March 14, at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 2 deals were made for a total of $682.7 thousand, the correspondent of ORIENT reports.
An entrepreneur from Uzbekistan purchased a total of 125 thousand sq. m. of sheet float glass of various thicknesses. The cost of the products ranged from $4.07 to $6 per square meter.
The total amount of transactions made was $682,750.
Float sheet glass has high optical characteristics that exclude image distortion. It is used in construction for windows, showcases, facades and other purposes. In Turkmenistan, these products are manufactured by the Turkmen Aýna Onumleri plant.
