Dubai is recognized as the cleanest city on the planet. This is the conclusion reached by researchers of the Japanese Mori Memorial Foundation.

"Dubai is the safest city in the world, the cleanest and the most beautiful. May God grant us to keep it intact, stable and prosperous," Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, shared on his official page on the social media.

The Global Power City Index evaluates the world's major cities according to their ability to attract people, capital and businesses from around the world.

The ranking takes into account the economy of cities, research and development, cultural interaction, sustainability, urban environment and transport accessibility.

The UAE has also become one of the most generous countries in terms of humanitarian aid, ranking third in the world.
