The Turkmen athlete will perform for the first time at the World Boxing Championship

The representative of Turkmenistan Gulzada Jorakuliyeva will take part in the Women's Boxing World Championship, which will be held from March 14 to 26 in New Delhi (India).
According to the country's Boxing Federation, Jorakuliyeva will perform in the weight category up to 66 kg. The Turkmen athlete was qualified for the women's World Boxing Championship for the first time in history.
The competition will bring together 300 athletes from 65 countries in 12 weight categories.
This tournament will be the main qualifying competition of the Olympic Games – 2024 in Paris. According to the regulations, 20 holders of permits for the Games in Paris will be determined at the World Cup.
