The website of the Program on the Rule of Law in Central Asia is now available in Turkmen language. This was announced by the European Union Mission in Turkmenistan in its Instagram account.

The program was launched in 2020 within the framework of cooperation between the European Union, the Council of Europe and the governments of Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).

It is designed to strengthen the rule of law in the countries of the region in accordance with European and other international standards, while taking into account the needs of each individual country.

The program consists of three main components:

— promoting the creation of a common legal space between Europe and Central Asia Asia and strengthening human rights protection,
— promoting transparency and combating economic crimes,
— assistance to the effective functioning of state institutions and public administration bodies.
