Dovletjan Yagshimuradov defeated Julius Anglicas

Turkmen fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov defeated Lithuanian Julius Anglicas in the Bellator 292 tournament, which took place on March 10 in San Jose (California, USA).
Yagshimuradov won the light heavyweight division by unanimous decision. All the allotted time, the Turkmen fighter controlled the distance, having the advantage. Yagshimuradov demonstrated control in the stalls and made three spectacular takedowns.
"We won the fight. Thanks to everyone who helped prepare: my coaches and sparring partners," the fighter wrote after the fight on his official page on the social network.
33-year-old Dovletjan Yagshimuradov signed a contract with the Bellator promotion in December 2020, becoming the first fighter from Turkmenistan in this organization. The athlete has 20 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw in his piggy bank.
His opponent, 31—year-old Lithuanian-born Julius Anglickas, has ten wins and four losses to his credit.
It should be noted that for Yagshimuradov, this victory was the second in a row under the auspices of Bellator. In April 2022, a Turkmen fighter defeated Brazilian Rafael Carvalho.
