Turkmenistan and Romania to hold joint cultural events

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania, Annamamet Annayev, met with the Minister of Culture of Romania Lucian Romashcanu, discussing with him the cultural cooperation of the two countries in general, as well as specific projects.
Among them is the participation of Romanian artists in the Folklore Festival of Turkmenistan in June. They also discussed the organization of cross-days of Romanian and Turkmen cultures and events dedicated to Turkmen poetry in Romania.
"Cultural proximity is the first step in building a strong partnership between states, and the Ministry of Culture is constantly committed to this approach," Lucian Romashcanu said in a Facebook post about the meeting.
