The Russian Embassy will request additional quotas for training for citizens of Turkmenistan

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan plans to send a petition to Moscow in order to consider the issue of allocating additional quotas for training for citizens of Turkmenistan. Yulia Zaitseva, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan, representative of “Rossotrudnichestvo”, said this in an interview with ORIENT.
― With the allocation of additional quotas, the number of places in education increases accordingly. We have every right to make a request, since there was no increase in quotas compared to last year," Zaitseva said.
According to her, the application will be filed by March 20.
Russia has allocated a quota of 250 budget places in secondary vocational and higher education institutions for the upcoming academic year for citizens of Turkmenistan, which corresponds to the level of last year. For the first time this year, new directions of specialties have been added through the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
The education of Turkmen students within the quota is funded by the budget of the Russian Federation. Acceptance of applications is open on the portal education-in-russia.com . Registration will last until March 20, 2023.
