Heavy rain is expected in the night from Friday to Saturday in some regions of Turkmenistan

The most intense rain since the beginning of 2023 is expected in Turkmenistan on the night of March 10-11, the Meteojournal reports. Up to 7-15 mm of precipitation may fall in 12 hours.

The most precipitation will be in the Ahal region, in the mountainous areas of Kopetdag, as well as in some areas of Mary and Lebap regions.

Heavy rain will start in Ashgabat on Friday after 23:00 and will continue until 11 am on Saturday, according to the forecast on the Gismeteo website. The maximum temperature on March 11 will be at +17 degrees.

No precipitation is expected in the capital on Sunday, and the temperature will rise to +24 degrees.
