Bidding on SCRMET: various types of fuels and building materials were in high demand


Since the beginning of this week, 29 deals totaling $28.4 million and 32.6 million Turkmen manats have been made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
On Monday, March 6, an entrepreneur from Afghanistan purchased 1.5 thousand tons of Jet A-1 aviation kerosene, the cost of each ton of which was estimated at $837.75. The total amount of the transaction exceeded $1.2 million.
Representatives of the business circles of Afghanistan also purchased about 10 thousand tons of PS 500-G0-K Portland cement for a total of $395.2 thousand that day.
On Tuesday, March 7, during the auction at the SCRMET, a businessman from Afghanistan purchased 1.5 thousand tons of Jet A-1 jet fuel for $1.2 million. On this day, the cost of jet fuel was estimated at $826.75 per ton.
Representatives of the business circles of the UAE, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan purchased a total of 33.5 thousand tons of A-92 gasoline, offering $765.75 for each ton. The total amount of transactions exceeded $25.6 million.
In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 13 thousand tons of road oil bitumen for 32.5 thousand TMT and 45.67 sq. meters of various handmade carpets for 117.4 thousand TMT.
