Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan
Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, at which the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies for two months of this year were summed up. The agenda also includes priority tasks to ensure security and tranquility in an independent state, strengthen the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies and further improve their activities.
The first to speak was Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyyev, who reported on the work carried out over the specified period and the implementation of the Program for the Development of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. Separate topics of the report were the implementation of the instructions of the head of state on the introduction of modern technologies in subordinate structures, including a digital system and best practices in the military sphere, as well as training personnel for the Armed Forces and solving social issues.
Prosecutor General S. Malikgulyev reported on the results of the activities of the structure headed in January-February of this year, the results of inspections of the implementation of the provisions of national regulatory legal acts. A report was also made on the measures taken to supervise the strict and precise observance of the rule of law in all areas.
Further, Minister of Internal Affairs M. Hydyrov reported on the results of the work done since the beginning of 2023 as part of the implementation of the Development Program of this body, as well as on the use of advanced technologies in subordinate structures. At the same time, it was reported about the practical steps being taken to maintain public order in the country, prevent crime, prevent accidents on the highways of the capital and regions, and comply with fire protection standards.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court B. Hodzhamgulyev reported on the results of the activities of the structure headed for two months of this year, the implementation of the digital system in subordinate institutions, the steps taken to improve the national justice system and improve the qualifications of judges. Then, the Minister of National Security N. Atagarayev reported on the work carried out over the specified period to maintain a favorable social climate in the country, the implementation of instructions previously given by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. Separate topics of the report were the use of modern technical means in the reporting units and training of personnel.
Further, the head of the State Border Service, Y. Nuryyev, reported on the results of activities for January-February of this year, the measures implemented to ensure the protection of the sacred borders of the Fatherland, and the modernization of the material and technical base of subordinate formations. A report was also made on the implementation of the Program for the Development of the System of the Border Troops of the country for 2022-2028.
Minister Adalat M. Taganov, who then spoke, reported on the results of the work carried out over the two months of this year, the preparation of proposals to bring the national legislative framework in line with the requirements of the time. Information was also provided on the implementation of the Development Program for this structure and the use of a digital system in reporting units.
Then the Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Hudaykulyev reported on the work carried out since the beginning of the year and the practical steps taken to optimize the growing flow of goods passing through the border of Turkmenistan, including transit ones. It was also reported on the fulfillment of instructions previously given by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country.
Chairman of the State Migration Service B.Volsakhatov reported on the comprehensive measures taken since the beginning of the year as part of the successful implementation of the Development Program of this structure. A separate topic of the report was the modernization of the material and technical base of the department through the introduction of a digital system and best practices in this area.
Summing up the results of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that our independent neutral Fatherland, based on the legal status of neutrality, steadily maintains relations of friendship and good neighborliness with the countries and peoples of the world. The Military Doctrine, which is purely defensive in nature, is based on these principles, and in accordance with it, the structure of military and law enforcement agencies will continue to be systematically improved, and the defense capability of the Fatherland will be strengthened.
At the meeting of the State Security Council, other issues were also considered, on which appropriate decisions were made.
