On awarding the honorary title of Turkmenistan "Ene mähri"
The cardinal reforms being realized in the Revival of the new epoch of powerful state are turning our independent neutral Homeland into an industrialized country of the world. The ongoing large-scale work creates favorable conditions for the prosperous and happy life of our courageous people, the further development and improvement of society. The contribution of our hardworking women to the unprecedented successes and high frontiers achieved by our rapidly developing independent country is enormous.
The merits of our mothers in raising the young generation as healthy and inspired people, devoted to the Homeland and the native people, are high. Their work on preservation of the sacred family hearth, raise sons and daughters in accordance with primordial traditions and customs, and further strengthen the unity of society is invaluable. In our sovereign state, mothers are highly honored, whose hearts are filled with tenderness and pride, who increase the authority of the Homeland with their selfless work, instill in children such national character traits inherent in our people as patriotism, humanism, nobility and diligence.
Guided by the wonderful traditions of our courageous ancestors, paying special respect to the mother woman as a shrine, the keeper of the family hearth, which is the basis for the healthy development of the Turkmen society, taking into account the outstanding merits of our high-spirited mothers in raising a worthy young generation, designed to ensure a happy future for the sovereign Homeland, I decree: to assign to 285 mothers who gave birth and raised eight or more children the honorary title of Turkmenistan "Ene mähri".
