The women's organization sent 4.1 tons of food and the NRCST 6.8 tons of supplies, including hygiene kits, clothes and food, to regions affected by the double earthquake on February 6, which killed more than 45,000 people.

Anadolu notes that a few days earlier, on February 28, the Women's Union of Turkmenistan also sent 8.6 tons of humanitarian aid to Turkey.
