Tengrinews: terminals for passport application have appeared in Kazakhstan
Terminals have appeared in Kazakhstan, with the help of which you can independently apply for a passport or identity card, Tengrinews reports with reference to the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.
The so-called documentation terminal will allow customers to order the service, bypassing the queue for registration with an employee of the migration service, payment at the checkout. They will also be able to choose a good photo for the document themselves.
The terminal is equipped with cameras for automatic biometric identification of a person by photo, as well as photographing; a scanner for signing and a QR code for paying state duty.
After submitting an application through the service terminal, the recipient needs to contact an employee of the migration service, who will check the application process for compliance with the requirements.
Currently, four similar terminals have been installed in the Astana Public Service Center. In the future, they are planned to be installed in all regions of Kazakhstan.
