Galkan became the champion of Turkmenistan in hockey
The Galkan Hockey Club won the national championship four rounds before the end of the national championship, beating the Vatanchi team of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan with a score of 8:1.
The organizer of the eighth draw of the tournament was the National Hockey Federation with the assistance of the State Committee for Physical Education and Sports.
In the championship that started in November last year, in addition to Galkan and Vatanchi, the Oguzkhan clubs of the Turkmengaz State Concern, Nesil of the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Merdana of the Institute of the Border Service are competing for medals.
Galkan won the title of champion of Turkmenistan in hockey for the 8th time in a row. The team achieved this success under the leadership of head coach Bayram Allayarov.
The national champion's team is 95 percent represented by the players of the national team, which in the near future will have to conduct the final stage of preparation for the World Cup in the third division of Group A, which will be held from April 17 to 23 this year in the Republic of South Africa.
