Bidding on SCRMET: technical sulfur and licorice rhizomes were in demand
On Friday, March 3, at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 2 deals were made for a total of $480 thousand, the correspondent of ORIENT reports.
A representative of the Afghan business community purchased 5 thousand tons of granular technical sulfur, the cost of each ton of which was estimated at $ 45. The total amount of the transaction was $225 thousand.
A businessman from the UAE purchased 46 tons of unpeeled, dried licorice roots and rhizomes during the auction. The price for each ton was set at $500. The total amount of the contract is $23 thousand.
