Electricity generation in Turkmenistan increased by 6% in January-February

The growth in electricity production in Turkmenistan in January-February 2023 amounted to 106.3%, and its exports during this period - 101.6%.

The production plan of the Ministry of Energy, based on the results of the work of the enterprises of the department, including the provision of specialized services, was fulfilled by 114.4%. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Baimurad Annamammedov at a government meeting on Friday.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov outlined the expansion of the country's generating capacities and the increase in electricity supplies abroad among the main tasks.
