Moscow has agreed to create a community of University and innovation schools of the Eurasian space


This topic became one of the main topics at the XV Congress of the Eurasian Association of Universities, held on Thursday at Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, BelTA reports.
Rectors and vice–rectors of member universities of the Eurasian Association of Universities from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and other countries gathered in Moscow to participate in the forum.
The participants of the Congress also discussed issues of organizing the work of universities with gifted schoolchildren, exchanged experience in the development of educational methods and the implementation of joint projects.
At the meeting, the Rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy invited the universities of the countries of the Eurasian space to participate in the international rating "Three missions of the University" and use its indicators to organize the activities of their university. The index is based on objective indicators collected remotely from independent sources. This approach minimizes the risk of data manipulation, said Sadovnichy.
The Association was established more than 30 years ago and includes 140 leading universities. The President of the Eurasian Association of Universities is the Rector of Moscow State University, Academician Viktor Sadovnichy.
