The International Information Center of Turkmenistan is in dialogue with Russian TV channels
On Thursday, the International Information Center (IIC) of Turkmenistan held a series of online meetings between representatives of the IIC and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country with representatives of Russian TV channels. On the part of the Russian Federation, such well-known media platforms as Big Asia, Russia Today Documentary and My Planet were represented in the negotiations.
The negotiations were devoted to the creation of sustainable communications in the information field, the search for formats for joint media projects, the exchange of news content and participation in the formation of the international information picture of the day.
In this context, the possibilities of promoting topical messages about the life of Turkmenistan, programs about its history, culture, traditions, etc. on Russian TV channels were considered. Proposals were also made to shoot documentaries in Turkmenistan for their subsequent broadcast on Russian TV channels.
During the meetings, Director General of the TV channel "Big Asia" (website bigasia.ru) Alexander Lebedev and producer of international projects of this resource Nikolai Kuznetsov shared their opinions on this matter. The Russia Today Documentary TV channel was represented by Konstantin Belyaev, Executive Producer of the Directorate of Documentary Broadcasting. Editor-in-Chief Nikolai Tabashnikov spoke on behalf of the round-the-clock educational travel channel.
The issues of cooperation at the meetings were discussed on purely professional approaches, with an eye to the real tasks set by the information resources of Turkmenistan and Russia.
