Young Turkmen tennis players will perform at the international tournament in Israel
A team of Turkmen tennis players will travel to Israel to participate in the international tournament for children of 12 years and younger (International Team U12 & Individual Event), which will be held from March 5 to 12. ORIENT was informed about this by the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan will be represented at the competitions in Haifa by Emirhan Rustamov, Suleiman Hudaiberdyev, Nazargeldi Amangeldyev, Muhammetsapa Serdarov, Sulgun Ishangulyeva, Aylara Kakabayeva, Nazli Hudaygulyeva and Anna Ponyatova.
They demonstrated high results at the national qualifying tournament, which was held on February 13-14.
Earlier, representatives of the Turkmenistan national tennis team won bronze medals at the World Championship for juniors under 14 for the Asia and Oceania region - 2023 World Junior Tennis Competition, which was held in Sri Lanka.
