Turkmen judoists will perform at the Grand Slam tournament in Tashkent


The national judo team of Turkmenistan will take part in the Grand Slam tournament, which will be held on March 3-5 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
Turkmenistan will be represented by 14 athletes at this championship. The composition of the Turkmen men's national team was formed by: Aybek Omirov, Hakberdy Jumaev (weight category up to 60 kg), Serdar Rahimov, Hekim Agamammedov (up to 66 kg), Parahat Nazarov, Begench Soltanov (up to 72 kg), Shatlyk Seyitmyradov (up to 81 kg), Mammedaly Achildiyev (up to 90 kg), Baymyrat Majanov (up to 100 kg).
The women's team will be represented by: Aksoltan Hojageldyeva, Kurbanay Kurbanova (up to 48 kg), Sayara Rozyeva (up to 52 kg), Maysa Pardayeva (up to 57 kg) and Zulhumar Dashkinova (up to 63 kg).
Turkmen judoists will perform at the championship under the guidance of coaches Gahryman Amandurdyev and Tatiana Vidyasova.
The Grand Slam tournament in Tashkent will bring together over three hundred athletes from 49 countries who will compete for medals and ranking points on the way to the Olympic Games in Paris-2024.
At the end of the tournament, Turkmen judoists are expected to attend training camps in Tashkent, which will continue until the tenth of March.
