The start dates of the football and futsal championships of Turkmenistan have become known

The Football Championship of Turkmenistan will start on April 4, 2023, the official website of the country's Football Federation reports.

The tournament will be held in four rounds. Eight clubs will take part in the competition. The capital of the country will be represented by three clubs — "Altyn Asyr", "Kopetdag" and "Ashgabat", the Balkan region — "Shagadam" and "Balkan", the Mary region — "Merv" and "Energetik", and the Ahal region — by "Ahal".

The current champion of the country is "Ahal".

The Turkmenistan Futsal Super League of the 2023 season will begin on March 12. The Futsal Super League matches will be held on the territory of Ashgabat, Turkmenbashi, Dashoguz and Mary. The tournament will be held in three rounds.
