The Turkmen-Tatarstan working group will hold talks in Ashgabat in March


The meeting of the joint Turkmen-Tatarstan working group on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation will be held in Ashgabat on March 15-16.
The agreement on holding the forum was reached during the meeting of the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan Guych Garayev with the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marcel Minnullin, according to the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Kazan.
One of the important topics of the meeting was the discussion of the possibility of expanding scientific and practical cooperation between medical professionals of the two countries. It was noted that the field of healthcare and the medical industry is one of the promising areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan.
The achievements and accumulated experience of partnership in this area are quite impressive, the Turkmen diplomat said. We are talking about educational projects in the field of medicine – in recent years, Turkmen doctors have been trained and advanced training courses at the Kazan Training Center named after Professor I. Fedorov and the Center for Training doctors "Talar" in a variety of specializations.
Two helicopters purchased from the Republic of Tatarstan in 2021 for the Turkmen Ministry of Health are currently operating in Turkmenistan in the field of healthcare. Work is also underway in the development of simulation technologies in the medical system in cooperation between LLC "Eidos-Medicine" Tatarstan and the International Educational and Scientific Center of the Ministry of Health of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues of scientific and practical cooperation and regular exchange of experience between medical professionals.
