Turkmen basketball players are holding training camps in Lithuania, from where the men's team will go to Amsterdam
The men's and women's national 3x3 basketball teams of Turkmenistan are holding training camps in the Lithuanian city of Druskininkai.
As ORIENT was told, in the Basketball Federation of Turkmenistan, the composition at the current training camp was formed by 16 athletes (eight in each team). The process is led by the coach of the men's national team Toyly Bayryev and the mentor of the women's team Islam Tachmuradov.
Upon completion of the training camps, the women's team will return home, and the men's team will go to the international 3x3 Pro League tournament, which will be held in Amsterdam (Netherlands) from March 8 to 26.
After that, the basketball calendar program will continue with performances at the Asian Cup 2023, which will be held in Singapore from March 29 to April 2.
