Turkmen-American partnership in logistics reaches a new level


The Turkmen Logistics Association, which unites transport and logistics companies of Turkmenistan, and the American company DAI Global LLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Wednesday regulating the main areas of cooperation between enterprises of the two countries, News Central Asia reports.
Within the framework of the document, the parties will work together to improve the quality of logistics services, introduce modern digital systems in the field of logistics to optimize supply chains and international transportation. Workshops and meetings with the participation of international experts, as well as training courses and seminars on training and advanced training of logistics specialists will also be held.
It should be noted that the American DAI Global LLC participates in the implementation of the USAID Program for Trade in Central Asia (Trade Central Asia – TCA), one of the directions of which is to improve the quality of services in the transport and logistics sectors, as well as strengthen trade ties throughout the region to accelerate economic growth in Central Asia.
Today, the association "Turkmen Logistics" takes an active part in such projects as CILT Next Generation - a global community of young professionals in the field of transport and logistics and WiLAT - Women in Logistics and Transport. These programs are aimed at providing professional and career support to young professionals and women in the field of logistics.
