The works of the Turkmen photographer Ahmet Hallyev were recognized as one of the best according to the results of the 7th annual International Photo Award 35AWARDS, which was attended by more than 125 thousand people from 174 countries.

The representative of Turkmenistan entered the top 150 photographers in the "Still Life" nomination, in which more than 12 thousand works by more than 4 thousand authors were evaluated. According to the results of the voting, one of the seven photos sent by Ahmet Hallyev was able to reach the 3rd decisive round, which later ensured that the author got into the top.

As Ahmet Hallyev himself told ORIENT, it was only on the third attempt that he was able to melt the harsh hearts of the jury members, which cannot be said about ordinary fans of photography: visitors to the website of the prestigious award immediately chose the works of the Turkmen photographer.

In total, more than 470 thousand photos were sent to the contest.

Ahmet Hallyev is a bronze medalist of the International Federation of Photographic Art and a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan. In 2021, his work "Uncle Nury" entered the top 4% of the best photos of the thematic competition for the best studio portrait 35AWARDS, the author himself then entered the top 17% of the best photographers out of more than 18.5 thousand contestants.
