Musical Spring: concerts in honor of March 8 will be held in Ashgabat


Spring in Ashgabat will come into its own with music and a series of concerts dedicated to March 8 and the beautiful half of Turkmen society. Performances and programs in honor of the women's holiday will be very different, as well as locations and venues where musical performances will take place.
The capital's concert marathon will be launched by the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory – here on March 1 a festive evening "Spring and woman are one" will be held in the great hall. Among the speakers will be teachers and students, musicians and vocalists who will present their listeners with the brightest and most romantic musical compositions. Among the artists are Atajan Berdyev, Vladimir Mkrtumov, Bibijemal Amanova, Aman Amanov, Bahar Durdyeva, Dovran Shammyev and many others.
The State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Rasul Klychev will continue the festive events. The musicians will give three concerts two days in a row on March 5-6 in the capital's Musical Drama Theater named after Magtymguly.
― Listeners will go on a musical journey with an orchestra - the program with the symbolic title "All the best for women" will be filled with songs and melodies from the cult films "I'm walking in Moscow", "Office Romance", "Titanic" and others. We will play different waltzes, including Aram Khachaturian, classical and modern works by composers who worked in different eras. In short, the most beautiful and romantic music will be played by the artists of our composition," conductor Rasul Klychev told Orient.
Popular Turkmen vocalists Nury Nuryev, Dovran Shammyev, and Maysa Niyazova will also perform with the state orchestra. They will perform famous hits and songs.
The festive relay dedicated to Women's Day will be completed by the performance of a string orchestra conducted by Tahir Atayev. The concert program "Ode to a woman" will be held on March 10 at the Magtymguly Music and Drama Theater. The artists of the composition will play famous works praising beautiful ladies.
