Finance Ministry discussed financing of Sustainable Development Goals in Turkmenistan
A meeting was held in the building of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan within the framework of the "Platform for Cooperation in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, Stage II" of the UNDP representative office in Turkmenistan.
At the meeting, the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Muhammetgeldi Serdarov stressed that official Ashgabat is doing a lot of work on the implementation and financing of the SDGs, and noted the fruitful work of ministries and departments in this direction.
The participants of the meeting paid attention to the issues of Turkmenistan's planned activities after assessing the financing of the SDGs, the use of information from the database on Sustainable Development Goals, and also discussed the significance of the visit to the country by an international expert on the World Trade Organization.
