Turkmen universities step up cooperation with the International Association of Universities


Turkmen universities will deepen cooperation with the International Association of Universities (IAU), including in the field of scientific journalism.
This is stated in the article by the head of the Cybersecurity Department of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev Maksat Cheriev, published in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper, following the results of a week-long working trip of the Turkmen delegation to Dublin, Ireland, within the framework of the 16th IAU General Conference.
Following the meeting of Turkmen representatives with the leadership of the organization, prospects for cooperation and the possibility of publishing publications of scientists of Turkmenistan in well-known indexed publications such as Scopus and Web of Sciences were considered. The delegation also familiarized the conference participants with the digital transformation of the Turkmen educational system.
In total, more than 300 delegates from 90 countries took part in the event. Turkmenistan was represented by 3 Turkmen universities — the International University of Oil and Gasnamed after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, the Oguz hanEngineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan,and the International University for the Humanities and Development.
