Ashgabat Museum of Fine Arts invites to the exhibition “The World in Color”


On November 1, the State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan will host an exhibition of paintings by Tachjemal Gylychdurdyeva. “The World in Color” – so paintress decided to name her personal exhibition. Abstraction and Neoclassicism predominate in her oeuvre.
- I try to convey everyone with my works a little joy and happiness that I feel when I paint, try different techniques to express the vibrant brightness of the world around us – says the artist.
Being a child, Tachjemal decided to connect her life with art, and her parents sent her to an art school. Then there were 4 years in nursery of artists, which passed unnoticed.
In 2004, Tachjemal Gylychdurdyeva entered the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. And her first exhibition took place in the fifth year of education. For the student, this event was an inspiring reason for development.
– I always look for something new, mix styles. I like miniature and easel painting. The work of Kazimir Malevich and Pablo Picasso asserted a great influence on my search.
A few years ago, in 2015, Tachjemal Gylychdurdyeva took part in the 10th International Art Symposium on contemporary art “Silk Route” in the Tatarstan city of Elabuga. The creative atmosphere, communication with artists from different countries left a lot of pleasant impressions.
– Probably, I’m waiting for the same from the upcoming exhibition, – notes Tachjemal. – I hope that the audience will see through the prism of my paintings the beauty around and inside themselves.
Picturesque and philosophical works by Tachjemal Gylychdurdyeva, indeed, charged with positive emotions. Apparently, from the fact that she considers the main thing in her visual images is not just a successful combination of shapes, lines and colors, but the feelings that they generate in the soul of a person.
