In January, Turkmengaz State Concern produced 1 billion 19.3 million cubic meters of natural gas in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, according to the data of the central production and dispatch service of the Lebapgazchykarysh department at the Concern, the website of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan reports.

Despite the abnormal January frosts, gas workers managed to fulfil the plan by more than 110%, said Begench Atayev, head of the production and dispatch service of the site.

Employees of the local administration did everything to prevent possible gas supply failures due to atypical cold weather and made every effort to provide consumers' homes with blue fuel during the winter season.

"We will move forward without slowing down the pace of work. I am sure that our labor collective will cope with all the tasks and will reach considerable heights within a year," Atayev said.
