Turkmen athletes take part in the "Path to Olympus" project
Young Turkmen athletes competing at the II Winter Games "Children of Asia" take part in the educational program named "Path to Olympus". ORIENT was informed about this by a representative of the country's NOC.
The project is being implemented in two Russian cities — Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk. This program is one of the educational projects of the "Children of Asia" International Committee and is carried out jointly with the Olympic Committee within the framework of the Winter International Sports Games "Children of Asia" 2023 in Kuzbass.
The "Path to Olympus" is aimed at promoting Olympic principles, familiarizing with the history of the International Sports Games "Children of Asia", promoting clean sports and strengthening friendly relations between young athletes.
Lecturers of the International Committee of "Children of Asia" and various sports departments of Russia were involved in the implementation of the Program. It is also planned to organize meetings with famous athletes, graduates of the Games of different years.
