Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan increased by 3% in January


According to the results of January 2023, the volume of Uzbekistan's foreign trade with Central Asian countries increased by 8% and reached $449.7 million, Yangi Uzbekiston reports with reference to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms of the country.
The volume of trade turnover between the country and Turkmenistan has increased by 3% and reached $16.1 million. At the same time, the Uzbek exports account for $5.7 million, and imports — $10.4 million.
Uzbekistan's total exports to the countries of the region amounted to $139 million, while imports amounted to $310.8 million with an increase of 18.4%.
The highest growth in the volume of mutual trade is observed with Kazakhstan. It reached 74%.
