An exhibition of works by Turkmen artists will be held in St. Petersburg
On November 1, an exhibition of paintings by Turkmen artists “Turkmenistan - an oasis of inspiration” will open in the cultural capital of Russia - St. Petersburg.
Turkmen painters will present the paintings themselves, so visitors to the exhibition will have a unique opportunity to chat with the masters and ask them questions about their work.
Also, during the event, the presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Turkmen Alabay" will be held. The book tells about the origin and development of the famous dog breed, one of the oldest in the world.
In the course of the evening, Petersburgers will get acquainted with the modern culture of Turkmenistan and its traditional features.
In addition to painting, the exhibition will feature jewelry, works of arts and crafts, national costumes and treats.
The event, organized with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation by the branch of the Humanitarian Association of the World Turkmens, will be held in the multimedia park “Russia - My History”.
