The Galkynysh Symphony Orchestra is ready to perform at the opening of the city of Arkadag
The Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra "Galkynysh" is ready to perform a concert program at the festive events dedicated to the grand opening of the new city of Arkadag. This was announced by Neda Berger, the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, in her congratulatory letter addressed to the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In her message, Ms. Berger noted that the opening of the city of Arkadag, the new administrative center of the Ahal region, is a great event for the whole of Turkmenistan and especially for the population who will live in this amazing city with "smart" residential buildings.
The Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra "Galkynysh" was established in May 2009 on the initiative of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This is the only joint orchestra in Europe, which includes Turkmen and Austrian musicians.
