Turkmenistan and Armenia to sign Cooperation Program in the field of culture and art
Preparation for the signing of the draft Program of cooperation between the governments of Turkmenistan and Armenia in the field of culture and art was one of the topics of the meeting of the Turkmen Ambassador in Yerevan Muhametgeldi Ayazov with the Minister of Science, Education, Culture and Sports of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan.
During the meeting held on Monday, February 20, the issues of holding the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Armenia this year, in response to the Days of Armenian Culture of Armenia held in Ashgabat in 2019, were also discussed.
In particular, Ayazov proposed to hold a conference and a concert dedicated to the great Turkmen poet-thinker Magtymguly Pyragy, whose 300th anniversary will be solemnly celebrated in 2024.
In addition, Zhanna Andreasyan invited the athletes of Turkmenistan to hold their training camps in the sports complexes of Armenia.
They also expressed mutual readiness to expand cooperation in the field on the basis of joint research programs and projects.
