A congratulatory letter was sent to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, from the President of the Assembly and the Chairman of the Council of the global "Green growth" Institute BAn Ki Moon (Pan ki Mun).
It reads: I wish Your Majesty and your family sound health and prosperity in 2023. Being the President of the Assembly and the Chairman of the Council of the "Green growth" Institute, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on your appointment as the Chairman of Hlk Maslahay of Turkmenistan and on your being recognized by law as the National Leader of the Turkmen people. As you know Global Green Growth Institute is an international intergovernmental organization consisting of 45 member states, and I am very happy that Turkmenistan will join our organization in 2022. Our Institute is committed to working closely with its members to promote sustainable economic development in emerging economies by supporting the development of green growth policy and attracting investment from public and private sources. Global "Green Growth" Institute hopes to effectively cooperate with the Government of Turkmenistan to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and measures for ecological restoration after the pandemic, as well as to participate in the implementation of the National Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052. Once again, I extend my heartiest congratulations and wish you sound health and success in your new position.
