The King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa presented President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the highest award of the kingdom - the Order named after Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa of the first degree.

The head of Turkmenistan was honoured with this award for his great personal contribution to the strengthening and development of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, the ongoing constructive policy that contributes to maintaining peace, stability and security on a regional and international scale.

Expressing gratitude for the honor, Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that he considers this high award as a sign of deep respect for Turkmenistan and its people, a symbol of the inviolability of the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries.

The award ceremony took place after the Turkmen-Bahraini summit talks, which took place on Wednesday, February 22, in Manama.
