Bidding on SCRMET: diesel fuel, gasoline and cotton yarn were in demand


From Monday to Wednesday, February 20-22, 10 deals totaling $38.1 million were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
On Monday, entrepreneurs from Turkey and the UAE purchased a total of 193 thousand kg of various types of cotton yarn for $210.7 thousand and 4.1 million TMT.
On Tuesday, representatives of the UAE and Afghanistan business circles purchased 30,000 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel, offering $838.75 for each ton. The total amount of transactions exceeded $25.1 million.
Representatives of Afghanistan purchased 10 thousand tons of A-95 gasoline on Wednesday, paying $809 for each ton. The total amount of transactions exceeded $8 million. Also on this day, 132 thousand kg of dyed terry products were sold for export to Azerbaijan.
