Turkmenatagatnashyk Agency and Thales Alenia Space discussed new areas of cooperation
Chairman of the "Turkmenaragatnashyk" agency Hajimurat Hudaygulyev met with representatives of the French aerospace equipment manufacturer Thales Alenia Space in Ashgabat. The parties discussed new areas of further cooperation and made various business proposals.
The French company was represented at the meeting by Eric Imbert, Vice President for Export, and Kistof Lanowski, Vice President for the Eurasia Region.
During the negotiations, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan and Thales Alenia Space have a successful experience of cooperation, in particular, in the creation of the first Turkmen space satellite TürkmenÄlem 52.0E. In this regard, the further development of cooperation is seen by both sides as promising.
It was also reported at the meeting that representatives of Thales Alenia Space are expected to participate in the upcoming international exhibition and scientific conference "TurkmenTel-2023", which will be held in November this year in Turkmenistan.
Representatives of Thales Alenia Space also stressed that they are ready to organize training courses for engineers and operators in Turkmenistan for the space industry actively developing in the country.
